15 Yr. Old May Be Youngest Black Woman To Fly Across U.S.
Thanks to Gator for pointing me to a post over at Feministing that pointed to a post over at Jezebel. Here’s the scoop: “15-year-old Kimberly Anyadike became the youngest African-American female pilot to ever fly across the United States…” and was accompanied by a safety pilot and one of the original Tuskegee Airmen from World War II.
Be sure to check out the accompanying video and link to the L.A. Times article as well. Congratulations, Kimberly! (Good luck on the AP exams.)
