WomenInScience: IEEE Spectrum Radio Interviews Dr. Janna Levin

While the book was released months ago, as was this interview, IEEE Spectrum Radio’s chat with Dr. Janna Levin about her book, "A Madman Dreams Of Turing Machines", is worth a listen. The book is a work of fiction about two historical men of brilliance, Kurt Godel and Alan Turing. (There’s a review the book here on dotFiveOne.) This interview discusses the religious and philosophical perceptions of the book’s subjects as well as their different approaches to science and mathematics.

As a fan of the book, I appreciated hearing more about Levin’s view of her characters. Be sure to check it out!
