Geekspace for Women

I’m a lucky soul. Two friends kicked me some nifty hardware this week, and I’ve added them to the project list. One good friend perma-loaned me an Arduino board, and I’m already pondering the magnetic stripe reader I’ve read about recently. Another friend kicked me another Elenco kit, this one an AM radio.

Meanwhile, I’m 98% done with the motion detector build. (The remaining 2% belongs to a missing resistor that I need to special order.) I missed my end-of-July deadline, but considering the fact that the damned thing has been sitting on my bench untouched for a couple of years, one week late is still pretty good. (Yes, I am a tad self-congratulatory!)

I’ll try to keep these project posts down to one a week, so expect a success story in about seven days.
