Leah Buechley is a post-doc researcher in Computer Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Buechley created the LilyPad Arduino, “a set of sewable electronic components that let you build your own soft, interactive fashion.”

Check out her site where she includes an introduction to programming the Arduino, as well as photos of different configurations of the product. Make sure to check out some of her other DIY projects as well.
