Instructables: Show and Tell for the DIY crowd

I’m always looking for new and interesting ways to do stuff myself. Based on the feedback I’ve been getting, so are you, and I’ve found the site that probably has your next project.

Instructables is advertised as a show-and-tell site, but it’s a treasure trove for any DIY geek. This last week, the web buzz on this instructable was all the rage (and I got a big kick out of that), but I found the following just as interesting:

This site isn’t limited to technical or computer related tasks. The projects range from cooking to construction to things that can’t be politely printed here. Some of the instructables need to be taken with a grain of salt and a couple of brain cells, and make sure to check the steps a couple of times before implementing them. (And don’t hack your passport. That’s just dumb.) Overall, though, this is a great collection, and worth checking out.
